Sealants

Always BPA-Free!

Sealants are a plastic resin material applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth—premolars and molars. They act as a barrier to protect the enamel from plaque build-up and acids that cause tooth decay.

Because toothbrush bristles can’t reach into the depressions and grooves in teeth, the sealant helps to protect these areas.

But not all sealants are created equal. The Oncall Dentist ensures our patients the safest materials available, so ours are BPA-free.

The sealant application is painless, easily applied and takes only a few minutes for each tooth. They generally last several years before reapplication is needed. Leaving nothing to chance, the OnCall Dentist checks the sealants’ condition at each visit.

MouthWare

A properly fitted mouth guard can help prevent broken teeth and injuries to the lips, tongue, face or jaw. While there are many types of mouth guards you can buy over the counter at retail and sporting good stores, your best option is a custom-made mouth guard, designed specifically for your mouth. Ask the OnCall Dentist for options to protect your smile.

We use only qualified labs to make our mouth guards, including the Under Armour-brand Mouthguard. ® Each is custom designed and fitted for our patients by the OnCall Dentist. And you can get on in almost any color you can think of.
